Parent Questions?
If you have any questions about band that you feel other parents may also have, please feel free to ask them here!
If you missed the band parent meeting on 9/16...
Here are some things we talked about:
- We are going to repair 3 saxes so that we will have some available for use.
- We are going to buy some new percussion instruments (vibraslap, tamberine, slapstick)
- We need a co-chair for the pizza fundraiser
- We need a chair for organizing water and volunteers for the Memorial Day Parade
- Since the 5th and 6th grade bands are going to be marching in the "Parade of Trees" on Dec. 6th Band Parents are going to purchase white marching gloves and hats for the students to keep warm with! THANK YOU!
- The Randall African Drumming Club will start soon--we have 101 students who have expressed interest so it should be a phenomenal year!
Our next meeting is November 18th at 7pm in the Elementary Band room--all band parents are encouraged to come! (The November meeting is shorter than most as well:)
